CMT has unveiled the seven rising artists joining its Next Women of Country (NWOC) Class of 2025, the network’s long-running initiative dedicated to supporting and promoting emerging female talent in country music.

This year’s inductees include Alexandra Kay, Dasha, Kaitlin Butts, Kat Luna, Lanie Gardner, Meghan Patrick, and MŌRIAH.
Since its launch in 2013, Next Women of Country has become a premier platform for elevating female country artists, featuring digital series, nationwide tours, and support from industry icons like Jennifer Nettles, Martina McBride, Sara Evans, Tanya Tucker, and Maddie & Tae.
The franchise celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2024, continuing its mission to champion women in country music.
A Year of Unmatched Support
Throughout 2025, the new class will receive cross-brand support, including featured placements on CMT, CMT Music, PlutoTV’s CMT Equal Play channel, CMT Hot 20 Countdown, social media, curated playlists, and the Paramount NYC Times Square Billboard.
As part of the reveal, Lauren Alaina (NWOC Class of 2014) surprised this year’s inductees at CMT Studios, sharing the exciting news and discussing their journeys.
These interviews aired as part of a special CMT Hot 20 Countdown episode. To further celebrate, CMT will dedicate an all-female video rotation and Times Square promotions throughout the week.
