The UK Country Radio Airplay Chart marked its first anniversary with the presentation of its inaugural awards, recognizing the standout achievements of country artists in 2024.

The awards honoured artists with the most No.1 singles, most weeks at No.1, most total weeks on the chart, and the highest chart reach—kicking off what will become an annual celebration of success in UK country radio.

The winners received their awards during C2C (Country to Country) Festivals in London and Berlin, with the honors going to:

  • Most No.1 Singles: (Tie) Lainey Wilson (“4x4xU” and “Hang Tight Honey”) and Jordan Davis (“I Ain’t Sayin’” and “Tucson Too Late”)

  • Most Weeks at No.1: Jordan Davis (“I Ain’t Sayin’”)

  • Most Weeks on the Chart: Dasha (“Austin (Boots Stop Workin')”)

  • Highest Chart Reach: Dasha (“Austin (Boots Stop Workin')”)

Accepting her awards at C2C Berlin on March 7, Dasha shared her excitement:"Thank you so much, this is insane. This means the world to me because this was not my life a year ago. I’m so grateful. I love you guys in the UK!"

Launched in March 2024, the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart is a collaborative initiative between global airplay monitoring company Radiomonitor and the Country Music Association’s (CMA) UK Task Force—a team of UK industry leaders advocating for the growth of country music.

As the first genre-specific radio chart in the UK, the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart ranks the Top 20 country songs each week, based on impressions—the number of people reached by each song’s airplay.

The chart includes eligible new releases up to three years old, reflecting the evolving landscape of country music in the UK.

With its first year in the books, the UK Country Radio Airplay Chart is proving to be a powerful force in spotlighting the biggest names and emerging stars in the genre.
