Fresh off landing his first No.1 hit on country radio earlier this year with “Wind Up Missin' You,” rising star Tucker Wetmore is keeping the momentum going.

His latest single, “3,2,1,” officially impacted country radio on Monday (March 10) and debuted as the No.1 most-added song, with an impressive 73 stations picking it up in its first week—a testament to his rapid rise as one of country music’s most in-demand newcomers.

Written by Josh Miller, Summer Overstreet, and Jordan Reynolds, “3,2,1” is a heart-wrenching tale of regret and missed chances, summed up in its poignant hook: “3 words, 2 late, damn girl you’re the one that got away.”

The song’s clever wordplay and infectious melody have already positioned Wetmore as “just a heartbeat away from being a household hit” (Country Central).

The buzz comes just weeks ahead of his highly anticipated debut album, What Not To, set for release on Friday, April 25.

The 19-track collection, produced by Chris LaCorte, is a deeply personal project that captures the highs, lows, and life lessons from Wetmore’s 25-year journey.

The title track, “What Not To,” serves as the emotional core of the album, exploring themes of struggle, compassion, and redemption. “Momma said you don’t pray no more / Breaks my heart, so I do it for you,” Wetmore sings in the powerful ballad.

The past year has been a whirlwind for Wetmore, who has gone from emerging artist to country’s next big thing.

His RIAA PLATINUM-certified No.1 smash “Wind Up Missin’ You” dominated the charts, earned him an iHeartRadio Music Awards nomination for Best New Country Artist, and even landed him a national TV debut on NBC’s TODAY with Jenna & Friends (watch here).

Currently, Wetmore is treating fans overseas to performances at Country 2 Country (C2C) Festival, alongside a sold-out show at London’s Electric Ballroom as part of his extended WAVES ON A SUNSET TOUR 2025.

This summer, he’ll join Thomas Rhett’s Better In Boots Tour 2025 as direct support for 33 dates, further solidifying his place as a must-watch talent.

In just one year since breaking into the country scene, Wetmore has already amassed over 810 million global streams, two Billboard Hot 100 hits (“Wine Into Whiskey” and “Wind Up Missin’ You”), and coveted spots on Spotify, Billboard, VEVO, and MusicRow’s Artist to Watch lists. With his unstoppable rise, Wetmore is proving that he’s not just a moment—he’s here to stay.
